About Our Company

The owner and senior project leader of Breakthrough Communications is Paul D. Race, who has been a professional technical communicator since 1980. Paul started the company in 1995 to meet the needs of technology companies which needed professional communicators but could not justify full-time staffing to handle short-term projects.

Paul works with a network of other professional writers, graphic designers, web programmers, etc., to provide a total solution when a client's needs exceed Paul's bandwidth or fall outside his core of expertise.

Paul's education includes a Master's of Composition and Rhetoric (Wright State University, 1995) and over 50 additional courses in computer science, business, and technical writing. He teaches Technical Writing at Clark State Community College (Springfield OH).
