This page is simply a list of AristoCraft track products that are especially useful to people who are beginning their garden railroads. Products that you should find especially useful for beginning garden railroaders with room for eight or ten-foot curves are in bold. You may easily print out this page to help you plan your purchases. We have also created a downloadable Excel spreadsheet version of the tables below if you want your computer to do the math. However you should also be aware that when you actually order, you will encounter discounts, shipping fees, and taxes that aren't included in the M.S.R.P. (Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price). However, if you order online, your final cost will be almost always be lower than the cost shown here.

There are two easy ways to order the track you need:

Ordering products with "Check Stock" buttons - If the track you need now has one or more "check stock" buttons beside it, simply click one of those buttons for pricing and availability information.

Ordering large quantities or many different kinds of track through TrainDiscounts - If you know what you want and you have access to a fax, you can enter an order to "TrainDiscounts" quickly by:

1. Bookmark this page.
2. Download the Excel spreadsheet version, fill it out, and print it.
3. Indicate anywhere on the form that you are ordering through Family Garden Trains (this should help you get the appropriate discount).
4. Fax your order form to the TrainDiscounts service desk at 973-575-3210.
5. The Customer Service people will get back to you with the final cost of products and shipping.

Note: If you would rather order by phone or have any questions about your order, the TrainDiscounts Customer Service people are also available at 1-800-404-4414 Mon-Fri 9a-6p EST. Please be sure to tell them that you are calling about items listed on Store #115, so you get the appropriate discount.

A Note about MSRP: The Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price for most brass track has gone up significantly in 2007, since demand for copper in emerging nations has skyrocketed. I've removed MSRP from these pages as I can no longer keep up with the changes. I still DO feel that good track is the foundation for a good garden railroad, though.

Note about Suppliers: While we try to help you get the trains and other products you want by recommending suppliers with a good record of customer service, all transactions between you and the supplier you chose to provide your trains are governed by the published policies on the supplier's web site. So please print off any order confirmation screens and save copies of invoices, etc., so you can contact the appropriate supplier should any problems occur. (They almost never do, but you want to be on the safe side.)
