Please note - Update for 2008: Sadly, every month dozens of spammers and jokesters fill out this form thinking that somehow their unwelcome advertisements or content will show up on my site (they don't). So I'm now asking people who want to subscribe to our newsletters to add SOME information about themselves and/or their hobby so we know it's it's not just a random spam attack and we won't waste time answering fake questions or adding bogus addresses to our database. Again, none of your information is ever given to anyone else, but WE need at least to know your real name and enough other information to show that you're really interested in the hobbies we represent. We apologize if this seems like a hassle to you, but we'd rather have a good idea of who our readers are and what they need to know than to spend time fluffing up our "subscription list" with a bunch of fake names from folks who aren't really interested in anything we have to offer.
Thanks, and happy railroading,
Paul Race
*Note: Unfortunately, in addition to the many reader questions we answer every month, we get a certain number of questions and signups from people who are nevertheless use systems that keep our e-mails from getting through to them. If you use a system that rejects e-mails from all unknown senders automatically, please let us know in the comment area how you've made provision for our e-mails to get to you without us having to jump through hoops. Thanks - Paul &c |
